Unrolling Instructions

Your mat has been rolled up to allow for timely and efficient delivery to you! When vinyl mats are rolled, they take on that shape and can be difficult to unroll and flatten. The warmer the mat, the quicker it will lay flat. Please keep in mind that thicker mats may take longer to warm and flatten. Below are some steps you can take to make sure your mat lays flat and you can get the best use out of it!

Warming Options:

• You can allow your rolled mat to warm up to (at least) room temperature. It should take approximately 24 hours to warm up thoroughly. After the mat is warmed up, unroll it and place it on the floor “bow up,” adding weight on top if necessary.

•  You can place your rolled mat in a small, warm room or near a sunny window. Let it reach around 80 degrees before unrolling it and placing it on the floor “bow up,” adding weight on top if necessary.

•  You can place your unrolled mat on a smooth surface in the sun, checking it every 15 minutes until it flattens. When it does, move it to a shaded area (indoors or outdoors) until it cools and becomes more rigid.
